Wax Paper Roll / Oil Paper can be used for rust protection, especially in smaller-scale applications or for items that require short-term protection. While it may not provide as robust protection as specialized anti-corrosion materials like VCI (volatile corrosion inhibitor) paper or films, Wax Paper Roll / Oil Paper can offer a basic level of protection against moisture & oxidation.

  • WrappingWrap metal items, such as tools or small components, in wax paper to create a moisture-resistant barrier. The wax coating on the paper helps repel moisture & prevents direct contact between the metal surface & the surrounding environment, reducing the risk of rust formation.
  • InterleavingPlace sheets of Wax Paper Roll / Oil Paper between layers of metal items to prevent them from coming into contact with each other. This helps prevent scratching & abrasion, which can expose metal surfaces to moisture & accelerate rust formation.
  • StorageUse Wax Paper Roll / Oil Paper as a liner or cover for storage containers or boxes containing metal items. The wax paper helps maintain a dry environment inside the container, reducing the likelihood of rust development during storage.
